PITTSFIELD - The Pittsfield Girls Softball League has announced that registration for 2018 Fall Ball is now open.   Individuals looking to sign up may go to www.pittsfieldgirlssoftball.com. The cost is $40 to register online and the deadline to register is Aug. 27. Teams will be formed at the end of August with games beginning the week of Labor Day and ending in mid-October.    There will be two divisions. One division is for U10 players with birthdays in the years 2008, 2009, and 2010. The second division is for players U12 players as well as players aging out of U12 but going into 8th grade. Therefore, players born in 2007, 2006, as well as 2005 may register for this

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Deshawn Hamlett scored 13 points Thursday to lead Outlook Builders/Pizza House to a 58-50 win over Kingsbread/Flynn & Dagnoli in the championship game of the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League Men's Division.   In the Women's Division, Teddy's Pizza defeated the Hoosac Women, 40-30, behind 10 points apiece for Peyton Steinman and Grace Guachione.   Guachione grabbed seven rebounds, and MVP Hollie Steinman had eight points and eight rebounds.   For the Hoosac Women, Emily Rosse led the way with a game-high 11 points, and Mckenzie Robinson scored 10.
