NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - The Williams College Ephs and the Bowdoin College Polar Bears tied in Sunday's double overtime women's soccer.
After Bowdoin dominated the first half and was up with a goal from Molly Popolizio, Williams responded with a goal from Brett Eisenhart early in the second. Although the Ephs controlled the second half, they were unable to find the back of the net for a second time and after 110 minutes the teams walked off the field in a draw.

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The MCLA Trailblazers got swept in a tri-match Saturday to fall to 4-12 on the season and 0-2 in the MASCAC.
Massachusetts College of Liberal lost its opening match to conference foe Bridgewater State University 3-0. The Trailblazers lost 25-20, 25-18 and 27-25.
Brittany Kish and Kayla Bromback each had four kills in game one. Kish also added a team-high seven assists. Kelley Bryant and Allie Chang had thirteen digs each for MCLA.
Tayler Beck had eight kills and Melanie Applemen added four kills and thirteen assists for BSU Bears.
The Trailblazers also dropped game two to Eastern Nazarene College by a score of 3-0. MCLA fell 25-15, 25-20 and 25-21.

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Visiting Salem State University blanked the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts 2-0 Saturday in Men's Soccer at Ron Shewcraft Field in North Adams.
With the win, Salem improves to 6-2 overall while MCLA falls to 3-4-1.
Salem opened the scoring in the 38th minute when Owen Quane tallied his third goal of the season off a Rafael Santos feed to put the Vikings up 1-0. The lead would last into halftime.

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Elms College finished with the top three rounds en route to a convincing victory in the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts Invitational at Waubeeka Golf Links on Friday.
The Elms College Blazers were paced by Phil Rurak and Henry Fall who shared medalist honors with 1-over par 71's. MCLA finished second at 322, while Westfield was third with 324.
Rurak used a one under closing nine en route to his 72 while Fall was one under on the front side. Teammate Tyler Cudnik was solid as well, finishing with a steady 75. Dan Costello chipped in with an 80 to round out the scoring.

LYNDON, Vt. — The MCLA women's soccer team notched their first win of the season as they defeated Lyndon State 1-0 on Monday afternoon in Vermont.
MCLA freshman Lindsay Roy collected the lone goal in the first half. The Trailblazers are now 1-5 on the season.
Roy tallied in the 41st minute as she took a Lauren Fender cross to beat Lyndon keeper Tia Billado. Roy's goal was the first of her collegiate career.
Lyndon had some opportunities in the second half, but MCLA keeper Jen Wehner would collect nine saves to earn the shutout victory.
MCLA was outshot by the Hornets 11-8, while the hosts held a 4-1 edge in corners.

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Rensselaer's Matt Koziol tallied the lone goal in the 58th minute to lift RPI past MCLA 1-0 on Monday afternoon in men's soccer action. With the loss, the Trailblazers evened their record at 3-3-1, while RPI improves to 4-1-1.
A well played first half went scoreless as each team had a chance to break the ice. After the intermission, however, RPI turned up the offensive pressure. Koziol's goal came off a set play from a corner kick.

WORCESTER, Mass. — Worcester State Senior Danielle Clifford (Attleboro) tallied the game's only marker in the 62nd minute to help pace Worcester State to a 1-0 triumph over MCLA in MASCAC action Saturday afternoon at Coughlin Field.
With the win, the Lancers improve to 3-2-1 on the season while the Trailblazers slip to 0-5. The game was the conference opener for both squads.
Worcester State pummeled the net throughout the duration of the game as they would finish with a season-best 32 shots (14 on goal) versus three for the visitors. NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — MCLA volleyball snapped a five-game losing streak Saturday with a pair of nonconference victories at home.
The Trailblazers dispatched of Becker 3-0 by scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-11. The Trailblazers got contributions up and down the roster as Becker fell to 1-7 on the season.
Kayla Bromback led with eight kills and freshman Taylor Warnock finished with five. Brittany Kish had fourteen assists and fellow freshman Reagan Parrelli added seven. Sam Barbarotta and two others each had three service aces and Kelley Bryant and Allie Chang had 10 digs.

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The MCLA Trailblazers and Worcester State Lancers played to a scoreless tie on Saturday in the MASCAC opener for both teams.
The game saw very few scoring opportunities during regulation as the teams combined for just seven shots on goal during that time. The game was a clean but physical contest throughout as the teams combined for twenty-nine fouls and there were five yellow cards given as well.

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The top-ranked Messiah Falcons handed the Williams women’s soccer team its first loss of the year on Saturday at the Zavattaro Athletic Complex.
A goal from Mackenzie Clapper in the opening 10 minutes was enough to power the Falcons (4-0-1) over the third-ranked Ephs (2-1-0, 1-0-0 NESCAC) despite a hard-fought game.
The home game for the Ephs was played on Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts' Shewcraft Field. Coach Michelyne Pinard said after the game that not being able to play at Cole had no effect on the results.
