NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Lawrence Carrier scored 30 points Thursday to lead Dagnoli/Troiano & Sons Building to a 93-57 win over Drury in the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League at the North Adams Armory.   Sedale Jones added 17 points and grabbed 14 boards, and Jayden Cross scored 11 in the win.   For Drury, Connor Meehan scored 21 points to lead three players in double figures for Drury. WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Jake Swistak stranded a runner at third base in the top of the ninth to secure a 6-5 win for the Cages Baseball Club under-22 team over the New England Roughnecks on Tuesday at Mount Greylock Regional School.   Swistak also went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI at the plate for the Cages (8-13-2).   Ryan Wadsworth was 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored.   The home team used four pitchers on the night. Starter Dom DeFelice lasted 4-⅓, allowing on run, before Matt Braman came on for 1-⅔ of scoreless relief. MONTPELIER, Vt. -- The North Adams SteepleCats Tuesday won their fourth straight game and improved to 4-0 this season against Vermont with a 10-0 victory in New England Collegiate Baseball League action.   The SteepleCats offense hit on all cylinders throughout the game recording a total of 15 hits on the night. The ‘Cats (22-18) jumped out to the early lead with two runs in the top of the second inning. The ‘Cats then added a run in the fourth and four more in the fifth. NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- The North Adams SteepleCats scored four in the first inning en route to a 9-4 win over the Ocean State Waves on Monday at Joe Wolfe Field.   Five different ‘Cats players recorded multiple hits in the game and three of those players recorded three hits on the night.    After eight bullpen appearances to start the season, Jack Rupe made his first start on the mound for the ‘Cats (21-18) and pitched well. NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- The North Adams SteepleCats Sunday swept a double-header for the first time in 2016 with a 10-3 victory in game one and a 3-2 victory in game two against the Keene Swamp Bats (16-21) at Joe Wolfe Field.   Peter Lannoo got the start for the SteepleCats in game one and pitched well. OTTAWA, Ontario -- Kellen Hathaway singled to drive home Eric Leitch in the top of the seventh to break a 6-6 tie and propel the Cages Baseball Club under-22 team to an 7-6  win over the Capital City Reds on Saturday.   The win helped the Cages avoid a three-game sweep by Capital City after the hosts picked up an 8-0 win in the first half of Saturday’s double-header.   In the nightcap, the Cages jumped out to a 6-1 lead after four innings only to see the Reds come back and tie it in the bottom of the sixth.   Leitch led the Cages’ offense going 2-for-2 with a double, two RBIs and three runs scored.
