NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Keiland Cross scored 22 points with nine rebounds, and Joe Wiggins added 21 to lead the Boys & Girls Club to an 80-69 win over Yard Work By Dan on Monday in the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League.   Tank Roberson and Lavante Wiggins added 16 and 13, respectively, on a night when league play was moved to the North Adams Armory.   Robert Jutras led Yard Work with 22 points. NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- The North Adams SteepleCats Sunday swept a double-header for the first time in 2016 with a 10-3 victory in game one and a 3-2 victory in game two against the Keene Swamp Bats (16-21) at Joe Wolfe Field.   Peter Lannoo got the start for the SteepleCats in game one and pitched well. He went five innings and allowed three runs off of six hits and struck out four. OTTAWA, Ontario -- Kellen Hathaway singled to drive home Eric Leitch in the top of the seventh to break a 6-6 tie and propel the Cages Baseball Club under-22 team to an 7-6  win over the Capital City Reds on Saturday.   The win helped the Cages avoid a three-game sweep by Capital City after the hosts picked up an 8-0 win in the first half of Saturday’s double-header.   In the nightcap, the Cages jumped out to a 6-1 lead after four innings only to see the Reds come back and tie it in the bottom of the sixth.   Leitch led the Cages’ offense going 2-for-2 with a double, two RBIs and three runs scored. OTTAWA, Ontario -- The Capital City Reds scored in the bottom of the 11th inning to earn a 4-3 win over the Cages Baseball Club under-22 team on Friday.   Dan Flynn went 2-for-5 to account for two of the Cages’ six hits and drove in a pair of runs. Eric Leitch went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.   Alex Carusotto allowed one earned run while striking out five batters in five innings of work. Dennis Cooney struck out two in two innings of hitless relief, and Kody Crosier ended up the hard-luck loser, allowing one run on two hits in 3-⅓ inning.   Cages is scheduled to play a double-header against Capital City on Saturday afternoon.
