Tucked in the Western Gateway Heritage State Park in North Adams, Freight Yard Restaurant and Pub is more than just a place to grab a drink and a quick snack. The venue is open for lunch and dinner in addition to having a full bar.

You won't leave hungry. Starters run the gamut from chicken wings to spinach and artichoke dip served with bread and tortilla chips; soups and salads include Boston clam chowder, texas style chili.. Lunch choices include a variety of sandwiches — grilled chicken, hot pastrami reuben, Sesame chicken wraps, Fresh fish sandwich, Shephers's Pie. Chips or fries come on the side. Of course, there are build a burgers, with a variety of fixings, and 4 salad choices.
Dinner includes several pasta dishes, and entrees such as broiled scrod, fish and chips, Filet Mignon, baby back ribs, Grilled Lemon Herb Chicken, and "giant sizzlin' fajitas." If you're in the mood for something sweet, the dessert menu has a variety of temptations. Among them are: Chocolate Lava devine cake, a Tex Mex sundae which is ice cream, chocolate topping, whipped cream and walnuts (serves two to four); cheesecakes; home made apple pie baked on site and more...
The FYP usually has the bar televisions tuned to sports, and there's live entertainment on weekends. The patio's open when the weather starts to get warm. Hours are Monday through Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to midnight. For banquet services, and catering prices, call 413-663-6547. |

| "I have visited the Freight Yard Pub on many occasions over the past few years and I have never came away without being totally satisfied regardless of what I ordered. From a simple Hamburger basket to the sizzling fajitas, all were great and at a reasonable price where families to may enjoy a meal out.
