Stacy L. Pelletier, 44

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Senior Master Sergeant Stacy Lyn (Zwiercan) Pelletier, USAF (Ret.), 44, of Aurora, Colo., died Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Parker Adventis Hospital in Parker, Colo.



She was born in North Adams, Mass., on August 29, 1975, a daughter of Valerie J. (Giroux) Zwiercan and the late Stephen W. Zwiercan. She attended local schools and graduated from McCann Technical High School.



After high school, Stacy joined the U.S. Air Force, where she served for 25 years until her retirement on July 31, 2018. She served in several areas around the world, including England, Boston, Utah and Colorado.



While in North Adams, she was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Stacy enjoyed karaoke, golf and horseback riding.



Besides her mother, Valerie J. Zwiercan of North Adams, she leaves her daughter, Sarah Olson of Mesa, Ariz., two sons, Bradley Pelletier and Corey Pelletier of Colorado; two sisters, MacKenzie Guertin of Bennington, Vt., and Kari McLain and her husband, Jeremy, of Russell, Mass.; her step grandfather, Ferd Jones of Bennington, Vt.; her godparents, Robert Blay of Clarksburg, Mass., and Darlene Lockwood of Shaftsbury, Vt.; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.



Her brother, Scott Michael Zwiercan, died on June 29, 1974



Funeral notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Stacy Pelletier will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at a time to be announced in the spring. Burial will be Southview Cemetery. I am very sorry to hear of Stacy's passing. We went to school together at McCann quickly we became friends. My sympathies go out to all her family. Their are truly no words to describe the sadness and shock, that is felt. She will always be remember.
