NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Kim (Richer) Demo LaFlamme, 61, of North Adams died on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at her home.
She was born in North Adams on January 12, 1958, a daughter of Edward Richer and the late Arline (Hebert) Richer. She attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1976. She then graduated from the cosmetology program at the Charles H. McCann Technical High School.
Kim last worked as the transport coordinator for Williams College. Earlier she had worked as a hair stylist, having owned and operated the former Changes Salon in North Adams. Kim was very artistic. She loved dancing, taking trips to the beach, cooking, crocheting and was an avid animal lover.
Besides her father, of Clarksburg, she is survived by her three sons, Justin Dwyer and his wife Gisel of Stephentown, NY, Nathan Demo of North Adams and Wyatt Demo of North Adams; one sister, Cindy Kimball and her husband Mark of Clarksburg; one brother, Alan Richer of North Adams; three grandsons, Garrett Dwyer, Jace Demo and Cole Beverly; one niece, Carly Smith; and one nephew, Kurtis Kimball.
Funeral notice: The funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at 10:00 A.M. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown.
