NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Marie Therese (Keller) Green, 89, formerly of North Adams, died Thursday, February 14, 2019, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, Vt.
She was born in Peekskill, New York, on February 25, 1929, a daughter of John and Ana (Thompson) Keller, and attended New York schools, including the Vincentian Academy in New York City. She had lived in the North Adams area since 1965.
Marie last worked as a receptionist for the Clip Shop in Williamstown until retiring in 1995. She had been a communicant of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church in North Adams.
She is survived by four sons, Donald Zell of Adams, David Zell of Tolland, Conn., Brian Garner of Morristown, Tenn., and Robert Garner of Gatlinburg, Tenn.; two daughters, Sherry Magnifico of Pownal, Vt., and Dena Magnifico of Amesbury, Mass.; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Gregory Garner; her brothers, John, James and Charles Keller; and by her sister, Ann Bennett.
Funeral notice: The funeral will be held on Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, at 11 a.m. in the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. The Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor of the Parish of St. John Paul II, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours are Monday morning from 10 a.m. until the service in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
