Robert L. Northcutt, 71

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Robert Lawrence "Cookie-Man" Northcutt, 71, of North Adams, Mass., died on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at his home.
He was born in Albany, N.Y., on December 4, 1946, a son of Gilbert and Catherine M. (Hess) Northcutt. He attended schools in Kentucky. Robert was last employed by Nabisco, where he worked for about 30 years until his retirement. After retiring, he worked for Hannaford Supermarkets in Bennington, Vt.
Robert was a member of the Greylock Community Club, as well as the North Adams Elks. He enjoyed bowling and playing golf and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his two sons, Brian M. Northcutt and his wife, Jennifer, and Scott M. Northcutt and his wife, BoYoung, both of Gardnerville, Nev.; four grandchildren, Cameron, Anna, Jackson and Kira; three brothers, Peter H. Northcutt of Kentucky, Earl Joseph "Buddy" Northcutt of Kentucky, and Michael Northcutt of Florida; one sister, Catherine Holiday; as well as nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Gilbert Northcutt.
Funeral notice: Calling hours to celebrate the life of Robert Northcutt will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247. A reception will follow at the Greylock Community Club. Donations in his memory may be made to the Junior Bowling League at Mount Greylock Bowl.
