NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Pamela Jean (Benway) Tart, 68, of North Adams, Mass., died on Monday, November 5, 2018, at her home.
She was born in Hartford, Conn., on December 11, 1949, a daughter of the late Thomas and Violet (Muldoon) Benway. She attended schools in East Hartford, Conn., and graduated from George J. Penney High School. In her younger years, Pamela worked as a floral designer for G. Fox Co. in Hartford. She was most recently employed as a nursing aide at Mount Carmel Nursing Home in Lenox, Mass.
Pamela was the widow of Robert K. Tart, whom she married in 1986. He died in 2005.
Survivors include her sister, Susan Kelleher and her husband, Timothy, of Mount Juliet, Tenn.; brother Gregory Benway of Glastonburg, Conn.; two nieces, Stephanie Boyd, her husband, Brendan, and their children MacKenzie, Brodie, and Kellan, and Jessica Kelleher, her husband, Jordan Buser, and their children Palmer and Margot; as well as two nephews Mark and Joshua Benway.
Funeral notice: A graveside service to celebrate the life of Pamela Tart will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Wapping Cemetery in South Windsor, Conn.
