NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Maryjane Scrivens, 73, of North Adams, Mass., died on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Williamstown Commons.
She was born in Hoosick Falls, N.Y., on July 13, 1945, a daughter of the late William and Isabelle (Potter) Scrivens. Maryjane attended local schools and graduated from Drury High School. She was employed at Cord Master, and previously worked at General Electric and Wieden Tannery.
Maryjane was a kind and loving person. She was a very proud and devoted mother.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Monette of North Adams, Mass., Theresa LePicier and her husband, Keith, of Hoosick Falls, N.Y., and Paula Griffin and her husband, Kevin, of North Adams, Mass.; three grandchildren, Samantha Weinberg, Jennifer Griffin and Meghan Griffin; and two great-grandchildren, Shaw Elizabeth Weinberg and Astra Jane Weinberg.
She was predeceased by her grandson, Paul Griffin; as well as her sister, Dora Cohen, and her brother, David Scrivens.
Funeral notice: A graveside service to celebrate the life of Maryjane Scrivens will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Southview Cemetery, North Adams, Mass.
