Jeremy Berard, 38

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Jeremy Berard, 38, of North Adams, Mass., died Sunday, October 7, 2018, surrounded by his loved ones at Berkshire Medical Center.



He was born in North Adams, Mass., on July 2, 1980, a son of Mary (Gigliotti) Martin and the late Keith Roger Berard. He graduated from McCann Technical High School’s carpentry program in 1999.



Jeremy was employed by Waste Corp in New York state.  At the time of his death, he was employed by Whitman Crystal Cleaning in Adams. Jeremy loved camping, swimming, fishing and the outdoors. He had a great sense of humor and had a nickname for everyone.



Besides his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Kylah Perras 10, of North Adams; his son, Connor Berard, 17, of Stamford, Vt.; his fiancée, Katie Duverney of North Adams; two brothers, Keith St. Hilaire of North Adams and Nick Martin of Maine; a sister, Crystal Patella and her spouse Keith Patella of Chelmsford, Mass.; three nieces, Sabrina, 23, Haley, 16, and Acadia, 6; two nephews, Max, 24, and Dylan, 15; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.



Funeral notice: Calling hours for Jeremy Berard will be Friday, October 12, 2018, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, Mass., with a service to follow at 6 p.m. 



Burial will be at a later date in Hancock Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Jeremy Berard Children's Education Fund in care of the funeral home.

Worked with Jeremy on and off for about 8 yrs. hard worker who was a lot of fun to be around. A guy that laws so proud of his kids. Our group will really miss him.

I am so sorry to hear the loss. Jeremy has left memories with me. I remember as a child we had a mini dance floor in my basement. We always had fun. He was a funny caring person. Now he can fly high with the Angels. Sorry you had to go to sin.
