NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Everett Harvey, 85, of Windsor Locks, Conn., passed away April 30, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. 

He was born on March 27, 1933, in North Adams, Mass., son of the late Mary (LaVigne) and Everett Harvey. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was employed for 40 years at Hamilton Standard. 

He enjoyed bowling and was an avid golfer.

Survivors include his son, Dan, who was his caregiver; his grandson Scott and his wife Amanda and their two sons, Liam and Mason; three sisters, Lois and her partner, Val Richards, Marcia and her husband, Rene Flores, and Karen and her husband, Roger Goodell; as well as a brother, Jon and his partner, Susan Sargent. 

He was predeceased by his wife, Joy (Suslik) Harvey; his sisters, Judy Harvey, Gene Clerc and Nancy Cancro; and his brothers, Neil, Robert and Richard Harvey.

Funeral notice: At Everett’s request, there are no services. Burial will take place at a later date.
