NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Arthur James Boucher, 72, of North Adams, Mass., died on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at North Adams Commons.
He was born in North Adams on April 12, 1945, a son of the late Philip and Helen (Patenaude) Boucher.
Arthur attended North Adams schools and graduated from Drury High School in 1963. He served with the Massachusetts National Guard 5th Infantry. He was the owner of AJ Boucher & Son and Berkshire Home Siding.
Arthur loved going to Foxwoods Resort Casino, and going deep sea fishing. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother.
He was the widower of Carolyn Mae (Baribeau) Boucher, who died on May 6, 2016.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah L. Baribeau of North Adams and Kelly J. King and her husband, Edward, of North Adams; grandchildren Heather Gagne and Janine King; great-granddaughter Emma Dupuis; and his brother Michael Boucher and his wife, Carol, of North Adams.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Christine Boucher, who died in 2015; as well as his brother Paul Boucher, who died in 1999.
