I am so very sorry to learn of the passing of one of my favorite teachers of all time. I can count on one hand who qualifies for this title. I never knew Mr.Sprague to be without a smile.... Day in and day out.... Day after day... You knew you could count on him for fairness. Equality. A positive outlook on life his students. His curriculum. His demeanor. Everyone was equal in his eyes... The struggling student... The honor student... The principal... The nurse.... The janitor... The parents... No matter where they came film.. No matter what their circumstances.... When you were in his class or in his school.tbere was no blCk or white... No tall or short... No wealthy or poor... He not only left a mark on your report card.. He left a mark on this world... And of every student who had the privilege to call him teacher. I shall never forget him... | from: Linda Corbiere Beckwirh | on: 01-06-2018 |

dear sheila and Peter, i went to HVHS from 1972-75, your Dad was my teacher and for 4 years a coach on the football team I played on. I remember him as a kind, thoughtful and compassionate young man. Now that I'm 60, he would've only been 26 years old when I was a freshman. Such an exciting time in my life. I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you had many wonderful years and memories together. with regards tim austin | from: tim austin | on: 12-16-2017 |
