Christopher D. Rancourt, 23

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Christopher David Rancourt, 23, died Saturday, September 9, 2017. 



He was born in North Adams on August 4, 1994, a son of David Christopher Rancourt and Valerie (Myers) Rancourt. He attended schools in Clarksburg and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 2012. 



Chris was an accomplished athlete and was a member of the Drury varsity football and baseball teams. He was employed by Yard Work by Dan. 



Survivors include his father and stepmother, David and Melanie Rancourt of Clarksburg; mother Valerie (Myers) Rancourt of North Adams; one sister, Brittany M. Rancourt of Adams; two brothers, David M. Rancourt of Clarksburg and James A. Rancourt of North Adams; paternal grandfather James R. Rancourt of North Adams and maternal grandfather Timothy Randall of North Adams; and several uncles, aunts, cousins and a nephew and a niece. 



He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Patricia Randall.



Funeral notice: Private Services for family and friends will take place Thursday, September 14, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main St., North Adams, Mass. Private burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. 



Private calling hours are Thursday morning from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals.

My condolences to the Entire family. Christopher was a great young man.
Me and my family are so glad we got to know him and his family.
My son and I had a great time coaching and playing Babe Ruth Baseball with him and James for those 3 years.

I'm so sorry for your loss .Chris will be missed very much. He was always welcome in my home I feel blessed to have known him he was one of a kind . He cared very much and always watched over my twins .He holds a special place in my heart I will never forget him.
