Phyllis M. Bullett, 83

August 23, 2017

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Phyllis Marie (Sanguinet) Bullett, 83, of North Adams passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at Albany Medical Center in Albany, N.Y.

She was born in North Adams on September 5, 1934, a daughter of the late Charles and Rachel (Cirece) Sanguinet. Phyllis graduated from Drury High School. She was employed as a bookkeeper at the Price Chopper Supermarket in North Adams for many years. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in North Adams.

Phyllis greatest joy was taking care of her family, especially "my son my son." Friends and family enjoyed her cooking and baking talents and her love of garlic. If you smelled garlic, Phyllis was not far behind. Her love and devotion to her family was unmatched. She will be sadly missed and never forgotten.

Survivors include her husband and high school sweetheart, Thomas Lloyd Bullett, whom she married November 14, 1953. Phyllis and Lloyd were blessed with 64 years of marriage. They were also blessed with three children: Bonnie Cunningham and her husband Jim, Chucky Bullett and his wife Jacklyn and Linda Grande and her husband Steve; six grandchildren, Tyler and Brad Mason, Katlyn Cunningham Losier, Lisa Cunningham Lamb, and Meagan and Michael Bullett; two great-grandchildren, Connor and Molly Losier; and one brother, Charles Sanguinet.

She was predeceased by a sister, Joan Nichols; and a brother who died in infancy.

Funeral notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will take place Monday, August 28, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.

Calling hours are Monday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main St., North Adams, Mass. Memorial donations are suggested for PopCares or the Friendship Center.

Recollections & Sympathy For the Family

Brings back memories. Her parents had one of the few TV's in North Adams and her Dad used to scare the heck out of me. I would go to their house on Tuesday night and watch the Milton Berle Show followed by some spooky show and her Dad would hide outside and jump out as I was going home--fastest I ever ran
