NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Lillian Valida (Pierce) Senecal, 99, of North Adams, Mass., died Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at her home.



She was born in North Adams, Mass., on August 4, 1918, daughter of John and Valida (Tanguay) Pierce.  She attended schools in Clarksburg and North Adams.



Lillian was employed by Sprague Electric Co. for many years and also operated the snack bar at Valley Park Bowling Lanes for 20 years until her retirement in 2002.



She was a communicant of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church and was a member of the Sprague Quarter Century Club. Lillian enjoyed trips to the casino and especially enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Lillian had wonderful caregivers, especially Buffy Heideman who went above and beyond.



Survivors include one daughter, Jacqueline Felix and her husband, Robert, of North Adams; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.



Her son, Ronald Battis, died November 7, 2015 and her great-grandson, Kyle Crosier, died June 7, 2015. Her sister Ellen Reyome is deceased and her brother John Pierce died in World War II.
