NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Richard David Vallieres, 60, of North Adams, Mass., died on Monday, June 19, 2017, at his home.



He was born in North Adams on December 31, 1956, a son of the late Raymond H. and Carol (Norman) Vallieres. He attended schools in North Adams, including Drury High School. He was a member of the Civil Air Control in North Adams, and was employed as a laborer at Modern Aluminum Anodizing Company in North Adams for many years.                     .



He was communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. He was a certified music minister.



Survivors include a daughter, Tara Vallieres of North Adams; a son, Nicholas Chrisopher Vallieres; two grandchildren; three sisters Deborah Calnan, Diane Bolognani and Rebecca King; a brother, Raymond H. Vallieres Jr.; as well as an uncle, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.



Funeral notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Richard Vallieres will take place on Friday June 23, 2017, at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in North Adams, Mass. Calling hours will be held on Friday morning from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapel, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, Mass.



Burial will follow in the family plot. Memorial donations are suggested for St. Elizabeth Church or the North Adams Ambulance through the funeral home.
