NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Charles Thomas Ostrander Sr., 63, a well-known resident of North Adams, died on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at his home.
He was born in Troy, N.Y., on February 11, 1954, a son of Thomas Lincoln and Marie (Snyder) Ostrander. He attended schools in Troy, N.Y. He was employed at the Union Street Redemption Center as a clerk for several years.
Survivors include four sons, Charles Ostrander Jr., Thomas Ostrander and his wife, Christina, Jason Ostrander, and John Ostrander; three daughters, Tina Burnell and her husband, Eugene Jr., Evelyn Ostrander, and Josie Miller; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister Donna Maynard; one niece; two nephews; two grandnieces; and one great-grandnephew.
Funeral notice: A graveside service to celebrate the life of Charles Ostrander Sr. will take place on Friday, June 16, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. at Southview Cemetery in North Adams, Mass. There will be no calling hours. Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals is in charge of the arrangements.
