Sharon L. Levesque, 71

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Sharon Lois (Tessier) Levesque, 71, of North Adams died on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Berkshire Medical Center.
She was born in North Adams on October 25, 1945 a daughter to the late Albert and Lois (Robare) Tessier.
She attended schools in North Adams, graduating from St. Joseph High School. She was employed at the City of North Adams, where she worked in the Health Department. She later worked at Berkshire Sports Wear as a seamstress.
She was a member of the Berkshire County Line Dancers, and volunteered for LaFesta in North Adams. She was a communicant of St. Francis Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.
Survivors include her husband, John Matthew Levesque; a son, A.J. Levesque of North Adams; a daughter, Karyn M. Levesque of Plymouth; three grandchildren, Johnathon Levesque, Bradley David O’Dell and Shirley Gazaille; and one great-grandson, Oliver Madison.
She was predeceased by her sister, Noreen Morehouse.
Funeral notice: Funeral services to celebrate the life of Sharon Levesque will take place on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main St., North Adams. A calling hour will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will take place at a later date. Donations in her memory can be made to PopCares Inc. through the funeral home.
We were so sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. Sharon was such a kind caring woman. As a very proud member of our Class Reunion Committee her dedication and enthusiasm were to be admired. She always went above and beyond and was always happy to do so. Sharon will be truly missed. Our sympathies to her husband and all of her family.
