CLARK ART WALKING TOURS
Williamstown, 2 p.m.
The Clark Art Institute will hold twice-weekly walking tours of the institute's campus on Wednesdays and Saturdays through Sept. 1. “Did You Know' A Guided Walking Tour” is a free, one-hour exploration of the Clark's picturesque landscape. Tour guides highlight features unknown to many visitors, from outdoor installations to the Institute's ongoing sustainability initiative. Registration is not required, but space is limited to 20 visitors. Severe weather cancels this event.

EAGLES COMMUNTY BAND
North Adams, 6:30 p.m.
Each summer from June through August the City of North Adams hosts a free weekly concert series, sponsored by Greylock Federal Credit Union, at Windsor Lake. Pack a picnic, bring a chair or blanket, and let the sweet sounds of music and water carry you away on a warm summer night. Concessions are available at the lake, but people are welcome to bring their own food. Parking is free during concerts, and swimming, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing are allowed at the lake. A Pig Roast will be held at the North Adams VFW Post 996, 573 Mohawk Trail/Route-2, to maintain funds for the Lanesborough Food Pantry operated by; VFW Post 10338 & American Legion Post 446. SHARING ROOTS FESTIVAL

ANNUAL ST. JOSEPH FESTIVAL OF SHARING ROOTS  Sunday, September 9, 2017 From 12:00 Noon until 4:00 PM on the grounds of St. Joseph Parish at 414 North St., Pittsfield, MA. Free admission and Kiddy Land. Entertainment will begin at 12:30 PM featuring local vocalists, dancers, musicians. Food booths will represent American, African, Brazilian, French, Italian, Lebanese  and Polish. Activities in Kiddy Land will include a family fun event with face painting and games. We are offering a 50/50 raffle, food basket raffle, toy raffle and lottery ticket raffle. Bring your lawn chair for an afternoon of fun and enjoyment.

TALK ON PHOTOGRAPHER'S RECENT WORK

IS183 Art School in Stockbridge will host an evening art talk with artist Bill Wright about his recent work. As he concludes his summer-long artist residency at the Red Lion Inn, Wright will share work created during this program (work created during this IS183 Art School/ Red Lion Inn residency) as well as other ongoing projects. His images are based on conveying the human experience, through direct portraits as well as more ephemeral reflections.

TOMATO WORKSHOP SERIES

White Goose Gardens at Holiday Brook Farm will host a workshop on canning tomatoes instructed by Kate Carney-Pike. The workshop will include information on how to learn to preserve tomatoes then enjoy your harvest all winter long. Learn safe canning procedures using the hot water bath canning method.
