LEATHERHEADS: TALES FROM THE BERKSHIRE FIREFIGHTING HEROES
Windsor, 3 p.m.
Leatherheads is one of seven performances in the Daniel's Art Party Performing Arts Festival. This piece is an in-depth exploration into the traditions of firefighting through storytelling by Berkshire Firefighters and breathtaking photography by Fire Chief Ed Harvey.  Musical accompaniment by the Danju String Quartet. Ed Harvey is a second generation firefighter with 30 years of experience. Ed’s photos have been published in the local news media and widely in a variety of fire service trade publications and he uses and shares his images in fire service training classes and via social media. Ed, along with Chief Ryan Brown, organize extracurricular training for firefighters as members of  the F.O.O.L.S. (Fraternal Order of Leatherheads) organization which provides training opportunities to Brother and Sister Firefighters worldwide as part of their mission). MARIN MAZZIE & JASON DANIELEY: BROADWAY AND BEYOND POSTPONED

6/17/18: The scheduled performance of Marin Mazzie & Jason Danieley: Broadway & Beyond on Sunday, June 24th has been POSTPONED due to health issues. The new performance date has not yet been determined.

STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL

Strawberry shortcake will star at the 37th annual Strawberry Festival, under tents at Gardner’s Ice Cream and Coffee Shop, 15879 NY Route 22 in Stephentown,N.Y. This fundraiser for the Stephentown Historical Society runs from 11 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Strawberries will be served on sponge cake or home-baked biscuits with whipped cream, or with ice cream for sundaes. Strawberry-rhubarb pie a la mode and whole strawberry-rhubarb pies will also be sold. Gardner’s is just south of the Stephentown traffic light.

CONCERT AT THE LAKE PRESENTS BORN IV BLUES

Each summer from June through August the City of North Adams hosts a free weekly concert series, sponsored by Greylock Federal Credit Union,  at Windsor Lake (intersection of Kemp and Bradley Streets). These concerts combine great music with the beautiful natural backdrop of Windsor Lake. Pack a picnic, bring a chair or blanket, and let the sweet sounds of music and water carry you away on a warm summer night. Concessions are available at the lake, but people are welcome to bring their own food. Parking is free during concerts, and swimming, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing are allowed at the lake.
