SPRINGFEST
Williamstown, Noon-4 p.m.
Snowfest, the Williamstown Youth Center’s annual celebration of fun and community, returns s Springfest at the WYC and the Williamstown Elementary School campus, which allows for the use of both indoor and outdoor facilities and helps to get kids and their families active outside with bounce houses, games, art activities and more. Donations will be accepted.

A SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALL DINNER
Williamstown, 5 to 7 p.m.
A Spaghetti and Meatball Dinner fund raiser to benefit the Rotary Club of Williamstown’s community and scholarship programs will be held on Thursday, May 2nd from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Williamstown Commons, 25 Adams Rd. The dinner will feature spaghetti, meatballs, sausage, tossed salad, garlic bread, dessert, punch and coffee. Adults: $9, Seniors: $8, children under 12: $5. There will be a gift certificate board (purchasers pay $20 for a certificate worth $25 and up) and a 50/50 raffle. The event is sponsored by Williamstown Commons.

CAR WASH
Lanesborough, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Lanesborough - New Ashford Dollars for Scholars is holding a car wash at the Lanesborough Fire Station on Route 7 in Lanesborough on Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The cost is $5 for a wash. 100% of the proceeds go toward scholarships awarded to graduating students from the community.

DRURY BAND BOTTLE DRIVE
North Adams, 9:00-1:00
Help support the Drury Band marching in the Washington,DC 4th of July parade this July!   Honored to be marching for the City of NA and the state of MA, we still have a bit to go to cover the costs of attending.   We are holding a bottle/can drive at the Mass Ave Redemption center.   If you would like a pickup, please email drurybandparents@gmail.com or call or text 652-1707 and we will be happy to  swing by and take them off your hands.  You can also drop them off at the redemption center that day.  As always, we appreciate our wonderful community's support!

DEWEY HALL SPRING GALA
Sheffield, 6 - 9 p.m.
This fundraiser for Dewey Hall will present The Lucky Five and surprise guests in performance. The event will include a sit-down dinner prepared by culinary students at Mount Everett Hospital as well as a silent auction. Tickets will be $50 each and can be purchased at the door or online through an EventBrite link on the Dewey Hall website (www.deweyhall.org). Dewey Hall is located at 91 Main St., Sheffield.

MOTHER’S DAY BREAKFAST

The Berkshire Lodge of Masons, 63 Center Street in Adams (The Elks Lodge Building), will be putting on a Mother’s Day Breakfast on Sunday May 12 from 8:00 am to 11:30 am. The cost is $8 for Adults, $5 for Seniors & Children Under 12. THE BLOOD DRUM SPIRIT JAZZ ENSEMBLE
Pittsfield, 3 p.m.
The blood drum spirit jazz ensemble will present a concert of original and traditional music in jazz and global traditions on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at 3 pm at the Zion Lutheran Church at 74 First Street, Pittsfield, MA. It will be to honor and remember those loved ones we have lost through death or separation, and is dedicated to Hazel and James Hartigan and Ray Hart, who taught tap dancing throughout the Berkshires for decades. People are invited to bring personal photos, poems, writings, or other remembrances of loved ones for display in the church during the concert.
