Charlottesville, VA based art-folk duo Lowland Hum make their Berkshire debut with a stop on their nationwide tour in support of their fourth studio album Glyphonic. ARTIST PANEL
Pittsfield, 1 p.m.
First Fridays Artswalk will host a free Artist Panel and Artswalk Information Session at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, 28 Renne Avenue, Pittsfield, MA. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions and be part of a discussion of what it means to be an artist in the Berkshires. A panel of local artists will speak about their experiences as professional and aspiring artists in the Berkshires and beyond and will answer questions about navigating the arts scene, networking in the artist community, marketing, and more. The artist panel will give tips on how to prepare for an art exhibit as well as answer any questions from attendees.

STEINER SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE
Great Barrington, 10 a.m.-noon
Great Barrington Rudolf Steiner School welcomes families to visiting day for children and grownups in the elementary building, 35 West Plain Road. During the first part of the morning, visitors will learn more about the Steiner School and its role in nurturing healthy families and community, have the opportunity to take a walk through the grades and early childhood classrooms to meet current families, view student work, visit art studios, and play in biodynamic gardens and the “big backyard.” During the second part of the morning, interested parents are welcome to “Meet the First Grade Teachers,” with first grade teacher Anna Taiga and subject teachers in music, language, movement and handwork.
