SOUTHERN VERMONT COLLEGE OPEN HOUSE
Vermont, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Southern Vermont College will host an open house for prospective students and their families to learn about the programs of study, athletic opportunities, campus life, financial aid, and scholarships. The event includes tours of campus including the Healthcare Education Center and Laumeister Art Center. Advance registration for the Open Houses is strongly encouraged and can be done online.

HARVEST & HOLLY CHURCH BAZAAR
Dalton, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
This annual event at the First Congregational Church, 514 Main Street in Dalton, starts the holiday season off with a shopper's dream of holiday gifts and decorations, delicious baked goods and cookie walk, a silent auction, and a bazaar greenhouse,  The Green Gargoyle Thrift Shop will be open, as well as the Book Corner.  Local crafters will be on hand to offer their specialties.  Young people will want to visit the Children's Activity Room for crafts and fun.  Lunch is available from 11:30 to 1:30.  Admission is free.

ARLO GUTHRIE: ALICE’S RESTAURANT
Great Barrington, 8 p.m.
When legendary folk music icon Arlo Guthrie took to the road to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of his seminal song “Alice’s Restaurant Massacree,” he was incredibly moved by the feedback from enthusiastic fans.  Alice’s Restaurant -- Back By Popular Demand Tour  will coincide with the 50th Anniversary of the feature film Alice’s Restaurant, originally released in 1969, starring Arlo as himself, directed by famed director Arthur Penn. Arlo along with his son Abe will be joined onstage with longtime collaborators Terry “A La Berry” Hall (drums), Steve Ide (guitar, vocals) and Carol Ide (vocals, percussion) of his former acclaimed band Shenandoah. Arlo’s daughter Sarah Lee Guthrie, a lauded singer-songwriter in her own right, will open. GCS CRAFT SHOW

The 19th annual GCS Craft Show will be held at Grace Christian School, 104 Kocher Drive, Bennington, Vt. The event will feature 50+ vendors offering their unique handmade items and edibles, lunch, bake sale, children's activity room and more. Admission is free.

The United Methodist Church of Lenox at 6 Holmes Road presents the Holiday Craft Connection from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event features dozens of the area's finest crafters, lunch at the "Salvation from Hunger Café," desserts from the Cookie Walk, silent auction and more. Admission is free.
