Search for Missing Pittsfield Man Focused at Greylock Glen

ADAMS, Mass. — The search for a missing Pittsfield man has shifted to Mount Greylock State Reservation after his car was located off Gould Road over the weekend.    State Police and other agencies continue to search for William Malloy, 57, who was reported missing several days ago. Anyone who may have seen him or has information on his whereabouts to contact the Cheshire barracks at   Malloy was reported missing to Pittsfield Police on Saturday, Aug. 8. He was last heard from on Sunday, Aug. 2. Adams Police Charging Man in Underage Drinking Party

Adams, State Police Investigating Death During Dog Attack

  ADAMS, Mass. — An Adams man is dead after a bizarre incident in which he was mortally wounded when a good Samaritan tried to save him from a dog attack.   The name of the victim is being witheld pending identification by the Chief Medical Examiner's Office and notification to the next of kin.   According to a statement from the Berkshire district attorney's office, the responding police shot two aggressive dogs outside an apartment on Bellevue Avenue and found a man with a fatal crossbow injury inside the apartment and an unharmed child in a nearby room.   Investigators currently believe a neighbor

Arrest Made in Adams Gas Station Armed Robbery

ADAMS, Mass. — A North Adams man was arrested over the weekend for the armed robbery of the Mobil Gas Station on Dec. 26, 2019.   Detective Michael Wandrei worked alongside members of the Berkshire County Law Enforcement Task Force, and patrol officers of the Adams Police Department to secure an arrest warrant for the man on the charge of armed robbery.   He was arrested by members of the State Police in Springfield and will be held pending arraignment in Northern Berkshire District Court.   The Howland Avenue convenience store was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes by an individual who entered at 12:15 a.m. and threatened

Adams Police Take Man into Custody in Reported Hostage Situation
