Mayfest Returns to Downtown Bennington 11:45AM / Wednesday, May 18, 2022 | | BENNINGTON, Vt. — The 35th annual Mayfest Arts and Crafts Festival returns to Bennington after a COVID-19 driven two-year hiatus. Renee Tessier's new shop offers a mix of new, vintage and repurposed home decor items. NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Renee Tessier is hoping to turn what started as a hobby into a second successful business venture. "This is my passion. I love to recreate and repurpose and reuse and I love to make things look beautiful," Tessier said last week as she styled her new space in the Berkshire Emporium. City Woman Wins Hometown Holidays Gift Basket |
Jonathan Secor had some help in pulling the winning ticket.
Congrats to Janet O'Neill of North Adams who won the big Hometown Holidays gift basket on Thursday. O'Neill won some $1,300 worth of gift certificates and merchandise.
The drawing could be entered by spending $50 downtown during the Thursday night Hometown Holiday events. Jonathan Secor of MCLA Gallery 51 said 62 people had entered the contest (including the editor of iBerkshires &mdash amazing how much cat toys cost nowadays).
